Viva, Bob, Party, Capri and many more... As the world swung in to the 60s, Beirut swung too! The ice cream company Cortina and drink maker Bonjus both had a strong graphic presence in the market and stylized logos. Beirut’s trading culture and colonial past produced strong connections with the European graphic culture and this can be seen in many of the Lebanese companies logos and advertisement campaigns. Through Rana's witty eye, she extracted the names and charming ice cream illustrations from found Cortina posters. Viva, Bob, Party & Capri and many more...are just some of the funny names given for each flavor.
