A delightful collage of found ephemerals collected during Rana’s research on Middle Eastern pop culture in Egypt.
These vintage geographical maps of Africa illustrated in Arabic were used in many schools across the Middle East. The pink quirky business card belongs to a hotel stumbled upon in Aswan along side a cassette cover for the Egyptian singer Um Kulthum. The small red Quran was given to her by a random encounter for protection.
Printed on high-quality 260 gsm Epson velvet art paper, the prints provide a classic and high-end feel. The paper is both acid-free and pH buffered.
